There's this old woman who works for us and she stared at me today like I was weird. Probably cuz I'm wearing shorts (and it's cold out) with mustard-colored tights and a big black flower in my hair.
But since I've discovered that I can continue to wear my shorts when the weather turns cold because of the marvelous invention that is brightly-colored tights, I guess I can expect to get many weird looks. I don't care. Cuz I get to wear shorts in the winter! Which excites me:

Speaking of Fantastic Fridays, I saw Laura Marling this week at World Cafe Live. World Cafe is a venue at the offices of Philly's member supported raidio WXPN. They have a big room downstairs and smaller cafe-type room upstairs where you can eat yummy yumminess. The show was UPSTAIRS and therefore very intimate & I got to chow down on veggie chili while seeing her perform.
Laura was alone- with just a celloist/background singer. She played a TON from her upcoming album and it was amazing! She's totally insecure on stage and absolutely adorable. Also dresses like a hobo. Like another Brit I know.

Mmm, do you know how much I love everything mustard? The condiment, the color! Gah! I die a little bit every time Nikki wears her mustard colored flats. And I am right with you on the tights part. I think I'm addicted to tights and leggings. Seriously, it's a problem. And I'm kind of upset that Laura Marling has no plans to come to the left coast. Sad Clown.
