I heart metric hardcore... their pandora station rocks my world... I discovered them about a year ago whilst studying for finals. they were just in seattle, I partook. they are great live too. sometimes while in my car I pretend I am Emily Haines...

I am so glad you reminded me about Metric! I have a few of their older songs from a random mixed CD and I really liked them and then I sort of forgot about them as I tend to do...Now I'm downloading these songs. And I feel your pain about discovering your band love right before they come. I don't know if it's fate or just kind of cruel.
They were my find of the year last year, and my love for Emily Haines affects me on a daily basis.
The mere thought of you and Emily sparking up a husband approved affair is nearly enough to get me to overlook all the material you steal from me : )
