Today is your senior violin recital, and I can't believe that after all these years, it's finally here.
It seems like just yesterday you were a little 4 year old, screeching to "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" while standing on that mat where the masking tape made spots for your feet.
Now you're a beautiful, grown woman who is an amazing, accomplished musician (and don't worry, my lips are sealed about your piano playing skills)

I'm so proud to be your older sister and to have the memories I have of your screechy violin playing. And I'm so blessed to be able to listen to you play your beautiful music tonight.
As I got older I noticed that mom would hang around the kitchen a lot when you & the other girls played violin or I would play the piano. And one time when I was home from college it hit me that that wasn't because there were a ton of dishes to do. She just loved to hear us play. She loved to hear you play.
Mom would be so proud of you...
I love you forever and ever and ever,
Bek
