A few weeks ago I kicked off my "Meet my Friends" series with
Kelly, the kitty lover from NYC.
Today, I want to introduce you to LA Nikki: (she's on our right with her kick-a hair)

Nikki has I job I wish I could steal (although she doesn't think I would want it, but she doesn't understand how bad my job is) Full-time she works for an entertainment marketing agency specializing in online marketing and online PR. They also own an indie record label. Her job is an account director (works directly with clients on projects) and label rep. No fair. *I had to edit out the name of the company because she has a stalker. EW. Also, so lucky.. her very own stalker.. sigh.
Her part-time job is to run shows with the guy who runs a famous performance spot in LA. It's a hard life being so desired. *again- name edited out due to above mentioned stalker.
She really wants to be a music supervisor, which she would be amazing at. Once she made me a mixed tape (not really a tape, but sounds much better than mixed CD) that arrived in a package with little pictures of
Adam Brody all over it (i still have the package). The mixed tape was called "HOJ for Bekah" (HOG= High on Jesus, duh) and included songs as amazing as: California, by Phantom Planet, a song or two by Dashboard confessional and even if dance tune by Lindsey Lohan. Seriously, hire her now for your tv and film music needs.
Her brother has his own imdb page, which is awesome.
Nikki and I met over 6 years ago when we lived on Martha's Vineyard (yes, where I met my husband). We were not friends. I have no idea why, and I'm still bufuddled by it since she's the much cooler, west coast version of me. We became friends on the internet after she graduated and lived at home and was bored, and I had the most awful job on planet earth scanning financial documents in Nashville. We spent our days talking online, making fun of CMC artists and blogging on xanga. OH XANGA! (was it even called blogging then?)
Despite the fact that we have full-time jobs and are more grown-up, our friendship has basically remained the same. We spend our days talking online, still make fun of people and we run two secret blogs together. We are also the two most obsessed Twilight and Rob Pattinson fans on planet earth. We've seen each other in person once since we met- I visited for 1 night earlier this year when I was in Cali for work. We ate delicious Thai food, sat on her bed and made fun of people we mutually know and went to a bar in Hollywood that had something to do with wood...
This is our only picture together (sad):

(Yes, we're all flipping off the camera- I am in the front in the pink sweater and Nikki is the 4th on our right in the middle row)
She also says "PEACE" instead of good-bye, which I love. You can find her online by getting to know her stalker and asking him where she hides online!
PEACE!
